After completing his undergraduate education at Hacettepe University, İbrahim Dalkılıç completed his master’s degree in Television, Film and Media Production at the University of Sunderland in England. He worked as a general manager in the television and digital media sector for many years. While continuing his career in the sector, he continued his academic career and taught at Girne American University and Eastern Mediterranean University.

After completing his PhD in Communication and Media Management, Dalkılıç continued his career at Arkın University of Creative Arts and Design and is currently the Vice Rector of the University. In addition to his academic studies in the context of cinema-culture-ideology, he actively takes photographs and makes films. Dalkılıç most recently wrote and directed the short film called “Parallel Poles”.
