Bio

He graduated in filmmaking from Iran Broadcasting University and obtained an M.A. in cinema directing from Iran University of Art, Faculty of Cinema and Theatre. Since 2000, he has taught cinema and photography courses at Iranian universities, and he has served on the board at International Soore University, Iran. His Ph.D. research in 2019 focused on war photography. He has participated in national and international photography exhibitions and has created several short films, TV educational programs, and a documentary feature film, “FATEMI”, which was screened nationwide in Iran in September 2025. He began working as an assistant professor at Arkin University of Creative Arts and Design, Northern Cyprus, in September 2024. His last photography exhibition was held in the TRNC in April 2025.
