Bio

Fashion and textile designer and academic working at the intersection of research and creative practice. Her work focuses on weaving, print design, and experimental textile surfaces, approaching fashion and textiles as both material and conceptual language.

She has lectured in textile and fashion design at Çukurova University and ARUCAD, integrating research-based inquiry with creative practice.

Her work has been exhibited in national and international contexts and has been recognized with several awards, including the GAIB Weaving Machine Carpet Design Award, the ATHIB Woven Fabric Design Award, and multiple Higher Education Achievement Awards, acknowledging both her creative and academic contributions.

She holds degrees in Textile Design and Art & Design and completed a second master’s degree in Fashion and Textile Design at NABA – Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, Milan. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Art and Design, with a research focus on sustainable textile practices, upcycling methodologies, and experimental surface narratives.
